  • Road Closure for Conway Street

Today we were notified by Mitchell Shire Council that the planned road upgrade for the northern end of Conway Street have been brought forward. With reduced numbers at school due to the lockdown, Council and their contractors have brought forward roadworks between the CFA and the Lancefield Road intersection to install curbing and on-street parking to begin next week. An electronic notification sign has been installed late today near the netball car park advising the closure will commence next Tuesday, 21 July. The roadworks are expected to be completed by 20 August 2020. There will be NO road access along Conway Street from the CFA to Lancefield Road during this time, so if you use that road, please make alternate arrangements. All car parking at school is still accessible, but it must be accessed from the roundabout end of Conway Street. This will also affect the bus service to St Patrick's and we are currently working with Assumption College and Seymour Coaches as to how that will be managed. Those families utilising the bus service during this time will be contacted directly on Monday.
