Virtual Track and Field

SSV has this week launched a 'Track and Field' Virtual event for ALL Primary and Secondary students in Victoria. There are several ways that your child can be involved. They can take part in one or all of the events on offer and there are prize packs to be won in each event. The emphasis is on FUN and encouraging our children to move and 'give it a try'. The events are:
Sprints: (60m, 80m, 100m, 200m, 400m)
Run or walk: (800m, 1500m)
Jumps: (standing long jump and standing triple jump)
Throw: (tennis ball shot-put)
Combined event: 100m sprint, standing long jump, tennis ball shot-put and 800m run.
