Language - French
Mrs Alyce Sauter
Students interact with the teacher and their peers using simple language and gestures for exchanges such as greetings, farewells, and for talking about self and family. They participate in group activities through song, rhyme, games and transactions. Students develop a curiosity to French culture and traditions, and compare culture differences.
The study of a second language contributes to the overall education of students, enhancing communication, cross-cultural understanding, cognitive development, literacy and general knowledge.
